The clubhouse down at the Kamiah Gun Club was completely full of people having a great time at the Annual Turkey Shoot this past weekend. All participants left with either a turkey or a ham just for signing up or if they won a shoot. Many of the folks blasted the “elusive” clay pigeon and they received a pack of bacon.
The real winners were in the clubhouse enjoying several pots of homemade chili, doughnuts, muffins and cookies prepared by club members.
Thank you to Kathleen Messinger and Patty Hamilton for keeping track of who won what and who went where, Cloninger’s Market for working with the Gun Club getting out the turkey, ham and bacon, and especially to all the shooters. Everyone declared they had a great time so by golly, we will do it again next year!
The Gun Club shoots every Sunday. The “Ten Week” shoot starts in January so come on down and get in some practice, you are ALL invited.
