The holidays provide ample opportunity to reflect on memories from childhood and other special moments through the years. We all have a few memories we cling to, and the Progress would like to share them with our audience.
Clearwater Progress readers are invited to share their favorite Thanksgiving memories this holiday season. Maybe you remember spending time in the kitchen baking pies with Grandma, or hunting with Dad to find that perfect turkey. Perhaps driving halfway across the country to spend time with family is what you recollect most.
Or maybe you recall a disastrous mishap that has softened into a fondly remembered anecdote like that epic plumbing fiasco during an enormous family gathering or the time the perfectly cooked turkey plummeted off the countertop and was quickly carried off by the family dog. Or maybe the cat left its paw prints in the freshly baked pumpkin pie.
Whatever your favorite Thanksgiving memory is, we want to hear about it.
Your submissions can be sent via email to: email@example.com or submit them on our facebook page. Deadline for entries is Thursday, Nov. 21 at 5 p.m. Photos are welcome, too. Memories will be published in the Wednesday, Nov. 27 issue.
