Leonard Ray Baldwin, 79, of Orofino and Kenai, Alaska, passed away on Oct. 6, 2019.
He was born in Kooskia on Sept. 20, 1940, and followed work to Alaska in the mid-1970s. He made Alaska his home until 2005 when he moved to Orofino.
Leonard is preceded in death by parents Frank and Mabel, wife Claudia, son Frankie, brothers Jim, Leo, Norman, David, and Dan, sisters Elsie Morgan, Violet Kinnick, and Linda Denham, brothers-in-law Roy Morgan, Ralph Kinnick, and Hance McFeron, and sisters-in-law Olive and Kathy.
Leonard is survived by Marilyn Baldwin, Randy, Greg (Scott Hagerty), Kristine Copple, Steven Sartin, Justin Baldwin, son-in-law Matt Copple, daughters-in-law Shelia Sartin and Christa Baldwin, grandchildren Joslyn Sartin, Aislyn Sartin, Raelyn Sartin, Kadence Sartin, Aralyn Sartin, Darci Baldwin, Brayden Baldwin, and Carter Baldwin, great-grandchildren Jaden and Savannah, brother Jeff, sisters Elva McFeron and Martha Goff, brothers-in-law Gary Goff and Joe Denham, and sisters-in-law Helen Baldwin and Penny Baldwin.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 1 p.m. at Trenary Memorial Chapel, Kooskia. Food and refreshments will follow at Kooskia City Hall.
