Barbara Belew of Kamiah completed her journey through life Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was 86.
Barbara was born in Ojai, Calif. on March 6, 1933 to Jesse and Laura Quaid. Barbara was married to her husband Don for 62 years.
She loved the outdoors and the beauty that nature surrounded her with; from the incredible Pacific Ocean that so deeply touched her soul to the rugged mountains of Alaska that often sang to her through the mesmerizing “northern lights.” And of course northern Idaho where she enjoyed its serene lakes and rushing rivers.
Above all Barbara loved her family. She loved people and people could not help but love her. She touched so many with her love, compassion and wisdom. She unselfishly offered friendship to all and guidance to many, she was an incredible mentor.
Barbara is survived by her husband Don, her daughter Allyson, her sons Chris, Paul and Bruce, her brother Ron, and all of their families.
Per Barbara’s wishes there will be no memorial service.
When a cure was not to be. He closed his arms around her, And whispered come to me.
She did not deserve, What she went through. And so he gave her rest. God’s garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.
GOD BLESS HER AND LOVES HER AS HE WELCOMES
HER INTO HIS HEAVENLY FAMILY.
GOD knows we loved her and all of you. We feel so blest that you opened your heart and let us be a part of your family.
WE LOVE YOU ALL,
DALE & SUSIE
