Carlene Marie Skiles received her wings Friday, April 20, 2018 at her home in Kamiah. She was 61. Carlene was born May 17, 1956 in Seattle, Wash.
Carlene was a sister, mother, grandmother, and a faithful friend to all. She loved quilting, listening to music, reading, and in the past few years keeping up with her friends and family on Facebook. Her family always remained the most important thing to her.
Carlene married Victor R. Skiles on Dec. 10, 1976 in Orofino. Together they raised two sons: Scott, and William (Billy).
Carlene is survived by her companion Charlie Ballew, sons Scott and William (Billy), stepson Richard (Teri), brothers Tony Simpson and Lonnie (Shannon) Simpson, sister Zada (Norman) Stamper, grandchildren Samuel, Kylee, and Jacob Skiles, and nephews Robert (Cassidy) Stamper, Daniel Stamper, and Evan Simpson.
Her husband Vic, mother Donna Simpson, father Robert E. Simpson Jr., and her grandparents preceded Carlene in death.
Services were held April 25 at the Cavendish Methodist Church followed by dinner. Interment will be at a later date. Pine Hills Funeral Chapel of Orofino is in charge of arrangements.
