Angela Teresa Palmer, 84
Angela Teresa Palmer, 84, passed away in her sleep on Dec. 28, 2016 at her home in Clearwater.
She was born April 26, 1932 in San Jose, Calf. to Dominic Sategna and Angelina Varaia. She graduated from Durango Colorado High School in 1950.
She married Paul B. Palmer Jr. on Jan. 16, 1951 in the Mesa, Ariz. LDS temple.
Angela moved to Clearcreek with her husband and five sons in 1965. She was a stay-at-home mother taking care of her husband and boys.
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she served as the librarian for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, embroidery work and did a lot of canning of fruits and vegetables.
She really enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They equally enjoyed being with her and have many fond memories of their time spent at grandma and grandpa’s house.
She is survived by one aunt Pauline Reeza of Forney, Texas; four sons, Kyle (Terri) Palmer of Blackfoot, Idaho; Blaine (Sue) Palmer of Kooskia; Brian (Margo) Palmer, also of Kooskia, Kevin (Barbie) Palmer of Clearwater; more than 25 grandchildren, and more than 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul B. Palmer Jr., son Kallen Palmer, and her parents.
The funeral was held Dec. 31 at the LDS Church in Kamiah. She was buried at the family plot on Clearcreek.
Vernon “Crow” Kennedy, 88
Vernon “Crow” Kennedy, 88, of Stites passed away at his home Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at The Life Center Church, 4432 Highway 12 in Kamiah. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
A fellowship covered dish dinner will follow services at Gospel Lighthouse Church in Stites.
